In celebration of Progress Days, we're excited to announce the recipients of 30 community grants from the Riot Games Social Impact Fund. These organizations, which span across 18 countries and six continents, will receive $10,000 to support their powerful contributions to communities around the world.
This summer, we asked players across all our games to nominate their favorite nonprofits to receive funding from the Riot Games Social Impact Fund. We received over 19,000 submissions from players all over the world, and our Social Impact team, along with the help of Player Support and our partners at ImpactAssets and GlobalGiving, carefully reviewed each nomination and selected our 30 winning charities.
We’re blown away by our players coming together to share their passion for so many important causes. In addition to these grants, we will continue directing grant funding to more organizations that play an important role in players' local communities.
