Naz Aletaha

Naz Aletaha serves as Vice President & Global Head of LoL Esports where she is responsible for creating and executing the vision, strategy, and roadmap for LoL Esports and providing oversight of its eight regional leagues and two international events: the League of Legends World Championship, and the Mid-Season Invitational. She is charged with shaping the future of LoL Esports, driving growth in fandom and viewership, overseeing the holistic LoL Esports fan experience, and leading the ecosystem to long-term financial sustainability.

Aletaha has more than 13 years of experience in the gaming and entertainment industry with demonstrated success in developing and managing partner ecosystems and revenue generation in esports. She was elevated into her current role after eight years as the Head of Global Esports Partnerships & Business Development, where she oversaw global sponsorships, strategic partnerships, business development, and media rights for Riot’s premier global esport, League of Legends. In this role, she was a catalyst in the evolution of LoL Esports from a niche competition into one of the largest global sport ecosystems in the world, drawing interest and investment from some of the most recognizable global brands across fashion, entertainment, and traditional sports.

Prior to joining Riot Games in 2012, Naz spent her early career at Sony Pictures Entertainment and later worked at Activision Blizzard where she managed the marketing for the Call of Duty franchise. Naz graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
